The location is by far the best thing about this hotel, and that says something because their staff is extremely friendly and polite and will help you with anything you want and Richard at the reception is one of the most cheerful persons I've ever met. Very kind and friendly people, cannot fault them it any way. The rooms are normal hotel standard, they are not plated with gold and aren't very luxry, but they are very spacious and the beds and very comfortable. The rooms have TV, air conditioning, locker safe, ironing board, the bathroom is very spacious, everything was great. Daily room service with complementary bottles of water, tea, coffee and laundry. But the primary reason I recommend Sheraton Khalidya is the location. It's a 5 minute walk to the Corniche Beach and it's a 20 minute drive to the main objectives such as Yas Island, the Grand Mosque, airport, Presidential Palace and so on. And all the taxi drivers know exactly where the Sheraton Khalidya is. It's also right in downtown and the place is full with local restaurants, supermarkets, malls and everything.

We were really welcomed in this hotel by all the staff. Especially Roger - He's really a sweet, attentive and funny person. He's an asset to a company. Also I would love to mention Zakariya and Ashish both were really friendly. Location is great and close to the beach. The hotel is well equipped and at the breakfast you can choose from many types of food. Staff again really helpful and friendly. Thank you

The hotel had the audacity to charge my credit card twice for my stay. When confronted they did not admit the mistake, they rather tried to blame it on me first, later on the bank, later on Booking.com. Totally incompetent staff, little to no command of English, the management at the same if not lower level. Aside from the location I have nothing else positive to say. STAY AWAY, they are scammers!

Clean, comfortable hotel, excellent staff. Convenient walk to the Corniche beach and a nice green park, and the Khalidiya Mall if you need to do a little shopping. Onsite restaurant is nice and relaxed. Buffet if the hotel is pretty booked out, set menu if not. If you want some other dining choices, there are several in the block. Get an even numbered room on a higher floor for a great view of the water, or if you get an odd-numbered room you probably still want to be high up to get above street noise on that side -- the noise is not horrible by any means, but higher is further from it. Rooftop pool is nice with good views to either side. Comfortable bed, plentiful hot water
